Our Story
Sheila’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2018 after Sheila’s personal journey through breast cancer revealed just how essential emotional and practical support can be during such a challenging time. While undergoing treatment, Sheila realized that many individuals face their battles alone—without reliable transportation to appointments, help with groceries, or simply someone to sit and share a conversation with.
Determined to turn her experience into a source of hope for others, Sheila established the Foundation to ensure that no one has to face hardship or illness without compassion, community, and care. What began as a small circle of friends offering rides and delivering meals has grown into a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals in need.
MISSION
Today, Sheila’s Foundation provides companionship, assistance with daily tasks, and access to community resources for those facing health challenges, financial struggles, or isolation. Through volunteerism, partnerships, and acts of kindness, the Foundation embodies its guiding belief: healing begins with human connection.
